As the managing director of Islandhopping and Radweg-Service I have undertaken countless business trips over the past 10 years to establish and cultivate our 60 business partnerships.

I always thought, how much easier things would be, if the branch met once a year:

• - in March, so that cooperative partnerships could be formed for the following year
• - away from the largest exhibition fairs
• - with minimum distractions and enough time for conversations with one another
  
  No sooner said than done.

In December 2008 I sold my “Islandhopping” business after 10 years.

Along with managing my remaining companies, I now have time to devote to the cooperation forum CycleSummit.

I’m looking forward to meeting as many as my colleagues as possible here in Konstanz in May!
