The following FamTrips are offered and organized by the hosting region and their partners. The FamTrips can be booked by all tour operators who attend to the  CycleSummit Sports 2026 in Ourdenaarde.  Here you can find all Famtrips in one map 

Please bring your own pedals, cycling shoes, helmet and GPS mount. Make sure to pack clothing suitable for cold and wet conditions, as weather can change quickly. An overnight laundry service will be available during the event.

Gravel cycling & Sven Nys Cycling Center (Pre-Tour)

From Leuven, in the morning a transfer will take you to the Sven Nys Cycling Center, our offroad cycling hub. After we picked up our gravel bikes, we’ll do a 42 km gravel bike tour in the beautiful and green Hageland region. Known for its rolling hills, fruit trees, vineyards and historic small towns. After a refreshing shower, we’ll have lunch at the Velo Food & Drinks restaurant, followed by a visit to the Sven Nys Cycling Center. To end our tour, we’ll visit the cycling themed De Coureur brewery in Leuven, where the owner will give us a short tour and of course a beer tasting. The train will take us to Oudenaarde well in time to join the evening program.

Good to know: Leuven is only 13 minutes by train from Brussels Airport. This tour is feasible if you already spent a night in the beautiful town of Leuven, or arrive early on Saturday morning (before 9am). This tour is limited to 12 participants.

Discover Ypres and Flanders Fields (Pre-Tour)

From Oudenaarde, after we picked up our bikes in the morning, a transfer will take us to the historic town of Ypres. You’ll soon see the famous Lakenhallen with its belfry and the Menin Gate.
The Flanders Fields area is known for its World War I history and the cycling race Gent-Wevelgem.  On our 59 km ride through this beautiful area, of course we will not fail to pass by some historic sites and famous Gent-Wevelgem climbs such as the notorious Kemmelberg.
This tour will test your climbing legs for sure. We will have lunch along the way and stop at a cycling bar.
A transfer will take us back to Oudenaarde well in time to join the evening program.
 
Good to know: Ypres is a 1 hour drive from Oudenaarde. You can have a shower back in the hotel. This tour is limited to 12 participants.

Ride the Ename Classic sportive (Pre-Tour)

The yearly Ename Classic is a sportive for all cycling enthusiasts that starts from Oudenaarde. Unknown but challenging climbs, smooth transitions, and stunning scenery along the way, that’s the Ename Classic.In short, it’s the perfect ride to test and improve your early season fitness. The start of what is sure to be a long and enjoyable cycling season. There are several distances to choose from. We suggest to ride the 65km or 90km route together, but the die-hards among you can also opt for 120km or even 150km. In any case, we will start by picking up our bikes at the Center Tour of Flanders in the morning, and ride to the start together. Feed zones are provided along the way.

Good to know: obligatory start during the morning (probably between 9 and 10 am). This tour is limited to 20 participants.

Road cycling tour in and around Ghent (Post-Tour)

We start with a transfer to the stunning town of Ghent, where we’ll have lunch first. After lunch, we gear up for a 48 km ride in and around the city. You’ll pass medieval buildings, ride along the banks of curling rivers and through picturesque landscapes to fully enjoy the beauty and possibilities of Ghent and the region. Along the way we’ll visit the local steel bicycle manufacturer Jaegher. A visit to the company is inspiring. We will finish the day by 6 pm at the latest with a local beer or coffee in a cycling bar.

Good to know: you can choose to leave from or stay in Ghent (at your own expense). There’s a direct train from Ghent to Brussels Airport that takes 55 minutes. This tour is limited to 12 participants.

Tuesday, March 10 to Wednesday, March 11

Graveling in Leuven and the surrounding forests (Post-Tour)

This is the region where the 2024 Gravel World Championships were organized. It is a true paradise for those who love unpaved roads, monumental trees and tough climbs along hollow roads that cut deep into the landscape. After our train transfer to beautiful Leuven, we’ll have lunch in the city center first. Our guides will then take us to Gravelbike Rent, where we will start our 50 km ride through forests and fields. After a refreshing shower, you will be able to quench your thirst with a visit and tasting at De Coureur, a local cycling themed brewery. We will drop you at the Leuven train station by 6 pm at the latest.
