CycleSummit started in 2009 at Lake Constance as a meeting of cycling tour operators and their partners. The first editions took place in the four-country region around Constance – with talks, a marketplace for 1:1 meetings and evenings by the lake. In 2025 CycleSummit returned to where it all started.

The first CycleSummit brought tour operators and service providers together in Constance: a marketplace in the historic Konzil building on the harbour, talks on trends such as GPS navigation and drinks on a terrace above the lake.
Like the first edition, CycleSummit 2010 took place in the Konzil in Constance. [Heiko: highlights of 2010 – there are no photos of this edition in the archive.]
This time at the Insel Hotel in Constance: talks on the taxation of cycling holidays, press relations for cycle tour operators and the study “Radreisen der Deutschen 2010” by Trendscope – and a busy marketplace.
Welcome drinks with bikes on the waterfront at sunset, followed by an evening with live music and plenty of time to talk.
