In October 2014 the sixth CycleSummit took place in Brixen (Bressanone) in South Tyrol, alongside the Brixen Tourism · partner IMS. Participants rode the cycle path through the valley, hiked above Brixen with the Dolomites on the horizon and met for 1:1 meetings at the marketplace.
Host was Brixen Tourism, in partnership with the Brixen Tourism · partner IMS taking place in Brixen at the same time – so CycleSummit participants could also attend a talk by Reinhold Messner and David Lama.

Day by day
The first day belonged to the bike: a ride on the cycle path through the valley, through old railway tunnels and past orchards and vineyards.
On Sunday the group swapped bikes for hiking boots: a walk across the alpine meadows above Brixen and lunch at a mountain hut with views of the Dolomites.
“Welcome to the 6th CycleSummit in Brixen/Bressanone”: the business day opened with short speed presentations – who are you, which company do you represent, what are your goals for this year’s summit?
Tour operators and destinations met for scheduled 1:1 meetings in the marketplace – right next to the stage of the International Mountain Summit.
