About the company

4Cycling&Trek is a local company rooted in Puglia, where our team has spent over 14 years designing cycling and trekking experiences that reveal the wild beauty, cultural heritage, and geological uniqueness of the remarkable Apulian landscape. Our guided (or self-guided) tours—led by certified nature and park guides—offer immersive encounters with forests, canyons, rural architecture, and ancient trails, supported by a high‑quality fleet of bikes and e‑bikes.

In partnership with AuthenticPugliaTours, the DMC that curates and operates our multi‑day journeys, we bring travellers into the heart of Puglia through routes that blend iconic highlights with lesser‑known villages, local artisans & producers, and genuine hospitality. Together, we deliver reliable logistics, meaningful outdoor adventures, and sustainable experiences shaped by deep knowledge and respect for the territory.

Regions & tours

Puglia, the „Heel of Italy“, is an exceptionally captivating region for active travel. Our cycling and trekking tours reveal a mosaic of coastal roads, ancient olive groves, limestone plateaus, and UNESCO sites that tell stories thousands of years old. In the north, Gargano blends forested hills with dramatic sea views; in the centre, Itria Valley charms with whitewashed towns, trulli, and gentle rolling landscapes; further south, Salento offers quiet rural roads, hidden beaches, and a vibrant Mediterranean culture. Mugia area & Matera add a striking contrast: their canyon trails and iconic Sassi create an atmosphere where history and nature merge. Our itineraries balance iconic highlights with lesser‑known villages, local artisan workshops, and authentic food traditions (cooking classes, olive oil & wine tastings, cheese-making experiences, etc.). Whether light gravel, road, or e‑bike, each route is designed in-house to ensure safety, smooth logistics, and meaningful encounters with the territory and its people — making every journey a deep dive into Southern Italy's essence.
