About the company

Created in 2011 by wine and bike lovers, Active Tours is a human-sized Destination Management Company specialised in cycling holidays across France's most beautiful wine regions.

Based in Burgundy, with three local offices in Dijon, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune, we design, operate and deliver our own cycling experiences from start to finish. Our in-house fleet of over 700 bicycles — hybrid bikes, e-bikes and road bikes — allows us to manage bike logistics, transfers, assistance and guiding services with full control and flexibility.

Regions & tours

Our playground is France's vineyards. From Burgundy to the Rhône Valley, from Champagne to Provence, the Loire Valley, Alsace, Beaujolais and beyond, we create tailor-made cycling journeys that combine scenic routes, authentic encounters, boutique accommodation, local gastronomy and memorable wine experiences. Every itinerary is designed and tested by our team, then shared through easy-to-use GPS navigation. Whether for FITs, small groups, guided tours or self-guided holidays, we are your trusted local cycling DMC for France's wine regions, offering ready-to-sell cycling holidays backed by seamless logistics, expert local support and full operational know-how. Designed by cyclists. Delivered by locals. Enjoyed by travellers.
