Beyond Albania Cycling Tours is a specialized cycling tour company based in Albania, created in 2019 and focuses on creating authentic, high-quality cycling experiences across Albania and the Balkans. We offer guided and self-guided cycling tours designed for international travelers, combining spectacular landscapes, cultural heritage, local cuisine, and genuine encounters with the region. Our tours take cyclists beyond the well-known destinations and into less-explored areas, including Albania, Kosovo & North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Three distinct, 10-day tours cover some of the best and most mesmerizing routes across these four Balkan countries. With our carefully designed itineraries, professional local support, experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, accommodation, transfers, luggage assistance, and route planning, we create an unmatched cycling experience. Starting in 2027, our fleet will include hybrid bikes, e-bikes, and road bikes, giving guests the option to choose the bike that best suits their tour and riding style.

Cycling in Albania & the Balkans Albania and the surrounding Balkans are one of Europe's most exciting emerging destinations for cycling tourism. The region offers an exceptional combination of dramatic mountains, pristine lakes, Mediterranean landscapes, historic towns, UNESCO heritage, traditional villages, and authentic local culture—often with very little traffic and far fewer tourists than Western European cycling destinations. For cyclists, the Balkans offer remarkable variety within a relatively small area: from the Adriatic and Ionian coasts to high mountain passes, from the UNESCO landscapes of Lake Ohrid to the remote valleys and villages of the Albanian Alps. At Beyond Albania Cycling Tours, we have developed three distinctive cycling experiences that showcase different sides of the region. 1. UNESCO Albania – (From UNESCO sites to valleys, mountains and exquisite cuisine, finishing towards the mesmerizing Ionian sea) 2. UNESCO Montenegro – (Unbeliveable National Parks, rocky mountains and gorges that are truly remarkable) 3. Five Lakes Odyssey – Albania, North Macedonia & Kosovo - (A journey in encountering the biggest Lakes of the Balkans region)
