About the company
„Bike in time” is offering full support for cycling experiences in the wilderness of Romania. Our aim is to put Romania as a top destination on the global map of cycling tourism. As one of the few licensed cycling tourism agenciesin Romania, we are covering all the main historicalregions: Transylvania, Bucovina, Maramureș, Dobrogea (Danube Delta), and Wallachia (Bucharest area). Our standard tours can be found on our website: http://www.bikeintime.com, and each tour can be customized. Participants can bring their own bicycles, but we also have our own road, trekking, MTB, e-bike, and gravelbikes. We are focused on cultural/historical tours, using mainly our gravel/ mix routes network. However, road cycling, MTB, and leisure tours are also in ourportfolio. Apart from cycling, we are organizing hiking, SUP, and snowshoeing experiences. We are recognized as a sustainable company, becoming a Travelife Partner in 2023. „Bike in time” is also Eco-Romania and DanubeCompetence Center member. Our „Transylvanian Fortification Route” tour is ecocertified by the Romanian Eco-tourism Association as an eco-tour.
Regions & tours
Our standard tours are covering the main historical regions of Romania, combining the cultural visits with ridings in the wilderness of Romania.
• In Transylvania we have thematic tours related to nature and to history: the manors and fortifications route, as well as mineral water route. Our „Transylvania Middle Age Fortifications Route” is a eco-friendly certified tour by the Romanian Eco Tourism Association
• Moldova and Bucovina are the most religious areas, and we have ourpainted monasteries tour.
• Maramures is probably the most authentic part of Romania, with a lot of traditions, as well as forests and rivers.
• The Danube Delta is one of our prefered destinations, as we arecombining cycling with boating, SUP, and bird watching. The Danuberoute (EuroVelo 6 route) is also part of our portfolio.
• Bucharest and surroundings includes thematic routes dedicated to Bucharest, to the wine route, as well as road cycling trips. Our trips portfolio includes 1-2 day trips, 3-5 day trips, and 6 day trips. All our trips can be customized, for any level of fitness, starting fromour standard tours.
