Cyclesummit is by far the best event to meet many existing partners and new contacts.
About the company
Boat Bike Tours has created unforgettable bikeand-boat holidays since the mid-1990s. Based in Amsterdam, we combine cycling with cruising, letting guests discover Europe's landscapes, villages, and cities from a unique perspective. What began as a small idea has grown into an international family of travel professionals. In 2024, Islandhopping joined us, bringing island-hopping expertise in Croatia, Greece, and Turkey. A year later, Kootstra Rad- und Schiffreisen joined the family, strengthening our German market presence. Together with our USA office, we welcome guests from Europe and North America. Behind every tour stands a dedicated team sharing one goal: creating memorable experiences and making guests feel at home. In 2026, our fleet of 50 ships offers 70+ itineraries in 15 countries, welcoming over 32,000 guests worldwide. In 2027 is our 50th anniversary: we'll invite our international booking partners to a great event in Amsterdam to experience our product, meet and celebrate.
Regions & tours
Our tours suit everyone who enjoys exploring at their own pace. Most are leisure cycling holidays on hybrid bikes or e-bikes, while selected tours cater to experienced cyclists with road, gravel, or mountain bike options. Guests stay aboard a carefully selected fleet, ranging from comfortable river cruise ships and elegant yachts to boutique barges, traditional sailing ships, and small premium vessels. Cabins are well equipped and, in most cases, air-conditioned. Full board is included on nearly all tours, featuring breakfast, picnic lunches, and freshly prepared dinners, with selected itineraries also including excursions and cultural visits. To match different travel styles, we offer three formats: fully guided tours with multilingual guides, self-guided tours for independent travelers, and semi-guided cycling cruises in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Every tour includes cycling maps, GPX files, free access to the Ride With GPS app, daily route briefings, and comprehensive tour information. Whether riding independently or with a group, every Boat Bike Tours holiday combines active exploration with the comfort of cruising, letting you discover, relax, and enjoy every day.
