About the company
Ciclofree is an established incoming Tour Operator and DMC based in Sicily. Founded in 2001, we bring over two decades of local expertise to designing cycle touring itineraries across the island. As a family-owned Sicilian company with local staff, we operate directly on the ground to ensure authentic and safe cycling holidays. We bridge the gap between international tour operators and local experiences. Our offerings include turnkey or custom guided and self-guided tours, daily excursions, and tailor-made holidays. Beyond crafting itineraries, we provide full operational support: route scouting, bike rentals, luggage transfers, and 24/7 technical assistance. By favoring scenic low-traffic roads and hand-picked accommodations, we deliver top Sicilian hospitality and operational trust.
Regions & tours
Sicily is a wonderful cycling destination offering an incredible diversity of landscapes, a long riding season with year-round favorable weather, rich UNESCO cultural heritage, and world-renowned gastronomy. We provide end-to-end ground operation across the island's most captivating regions, from the Baroque valleys and Mount Etna to the coastal Salt Route. As a local tour operator, we offer both turnkey and custom-designed self-guided or guided itineraries tailored to your client base, whether they seek leisure rides, e-bike tours, or sportive routes. Partnering with Ciclofree means relying on a fully equipped local operator. We manage our own fleet of high-quality, regularly maintained bikes and e-bikes, complete with all touring accessories. Our ground team handles seamless hotel-to-hotel luggage transfers, on-arrival briefings and bike fitting, detailed maps, GPS app, and 24/7 technical support. Thanks to our direct, long-standing relationships with local hoteliers and suppliers, we guarantee operational flexibility and top-tier service quality, making us the ideal local partner to deliver a smooth and authentic Sicilian cycling experience for your clients.
