About the company

Cycle Breaks has been offering self-guided cycling holidays through the historic landscapes, unspoilt coast and beautiful villages of East Anglia (England) since 1991. We have been receiving clients from European partners since 1996. Our services include great accommodation and bikes, luggage transfer between hotels, carefully planned routes and a service hotline available 7 days a week. Our season runs from Easter to October. We have a range of itineraries from 4 to 10 nights, but are flexible in our approach and willing to cater for specific needs in terms of accommodation level, distance to be cycled and trip duration. See our TrustPilot reviews for confirmation of our service levels and customer satisfaction.

Regions & tours

Our English tour portfolio focuses on the very historic landscapes, unspoilt coast, timeless villages and big skies of Suffolk & Norfolk - an area traditionally known as East Anglia, just 150kms north east of London. Suffolk is a green and nature-rich land, immortalised by the English landscape artist John Constable and made rich on the trade and wealth of medieval merchants. Our cycle tours go with the flow of gentle river valleys and follow quiet country lanes through half-timbered towns and villages with great flint churches, beautiful cottage gardens and welcoming inns. Some pass rolling farmland and impressive castles to reach forest paths or bike-ferries to cross estuaries and meet a heritage coastline that's home to sand and shingle beaches, cliffs, marshes and more. Norfolk village-hopping itineraries combine rural landscapes with the famous Norfolk Broads (lakes) National Park, wildlife-rich North Norfolk coast or the fine historic city of Norwich. London: Suffolk is only 80 minutes from central London by train. Car: we can offer free parking at our base and route adaptations that cater for clients arriving in their own car.
