About the company
The Occitanie Regional Tourist and Leisure Board is your facilitator and your regional contact for your tours and stays : connection with accommodations, incoming agencies, tourist sites, service companies, activities... The Occitanie Regional Tourist and Leisure Board works together with the 13 départements, the big tourist offices and private businesses, to promote the whole Occitanie Region on international markets. It implements throughout the year many operations dedicated to tour-operators to better know and sell the Occitanie destination. It is wholly committed to developing cycling tourism sustainably in the region, working alongside professionnals throughout the cycling sector. Among them, the Vélo Vallée cluster, a regional business group based close to Toulouse, working on all the businesses of cycling.

From the Pont du Gard to Gavarnie in the Pyrenees, from the Dordogne Valley to the Mediterranean seaside resorts, Occitanie Sud de France Region is full of world-renowned sites (including 9 Unesco sites): the Canal du Midi, Albi, Carcassonne, Lourdes, Rocamadour and Conques on the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago, as well as the Pic du Midi and the Cathar Castles... These are just a few of the showpieces of this exceptional heritage, in the heart of preserved natural areas and breathtaking landscapes. You will enjoy the „French Art de Vivre“ in our two main cities, Toulouse and Montpellier, which you will undoubtedly find enchanting. Cycling tourists in Occitanie can push themselves or take it slow in a whole host of playgrounds: city, mountain, countryside or coast! Sporty cyclists can challenge themselves like the Tour de France sprinters on the famous Pyrenean Route des Cols. Cyclists who want experience over performance can ride along our famous bike paths, Canal des Deux Mers, Canal du Midi, the Méditérannée à Vélo (EuroVelo 8) or the Via Rhona (EuroVelo 17), which cross our territory. And Occitanie Region is full of smaller but excited bike paths, such as the fabulous Lot Vallley route or the outstanding tour of France's Most Beautiful Villages in Aveyron.
