About the company
We are a tour operator and a travel organization specialized in bicycle tours and trekkings; in our company works a highly experienced staff. We started professionally at the end of the ‚90s, but previously we spent ten years in the world of environmental volunteering as FIAB (Italian Federation friends of the bike) . Our „mission „ is the eco- and sustainable tourism. Our tours are suitable for all, regardless of age, and come from a thorough search of safe paths surrounded by beautiful landscapes rich in artistic and historical treasures . Our offer ranges from short trips or half a day to large one-week tours, from individual travels to guided ones, from the charming northern Europe to the warm Mediterranean, above all Italy which, seen from the bike saddle , will appear in a completely new perspective; finally programs including cultural excursions . Traveling with Due Ruote nel Vento means discovering the refreshing feeling of freedom that only a bike tour can give you.
Regions & tours
Due Ruote nel Vento has its headquarters in Turin, capital of the beautiful Piemonte, region bordered with Aosta valley, Liguria and Lombardy. In this regions we organize bike tours and trekkings. Our best selling tour is “Tasty Piedmont”, which passes through Langhe and Monferrato, areas famous in the world for its landscapes and its food and wines. The Pilgrim's route starts from Aosta and ends in Pavia. In Liguria we organize Nice-Genoa and Cinque Terre, in Lombardy we have “The lakes of Lombardy”, starting from the Garda Lake up to Lago Maggiore. A recent tour is Turin- Milan, an itinerary among three beautiful lakes that arrives in Milan along the Naviglio canal. Very interesting is the route along the river Po in three stages, from the source up to its delta near Venice. In Tuscany we offer the beautiful Terre di Siena. In northern Italy we organize also some hiking tours. Our work consists of tour packages, tailor made tours, individual and group tours: walking and cycling holidays, relaxing wellness holidays, wine- tasting tours, luxury and standard accommodations, guided and self-guided tours, pilgrimage walking and cycling tours, bike rental.
