About the company
Grand Angle organises discovery trips with ecofriendly ways of travelling since 1983: cycling, hiking, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Grand Angle operates in France and throughout Europe. We follow an ethos of being green and ecological. These trips require a minimum level of physical fitness and technical ability but are not aimed at sporting professionals. In France, with the development of veloroutes, it is now possible to ride around the country, discovering its richness (landscapes, cultural heritage, gastronomy) while following rivers, canals, coasts and beaches or crossing the country and midmountain massifs.
Regions & tours
Self guided cycling and hiking tours in France, Alps and Italy. For our tours, we mainly use hybrid bikes and electric hybrid bikes. Occasionally we may use mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes, as is the case in the Vercors massif. Grand Angle was one of the first French tour operators to organise self-guided tours, first by foot, ski and snowshoe in the eighties, then by bike. From the creation of routes by experienced professionals to the reservation of hotels and equipment, Grand Angle possesses a genuine expertise in self-guided trips. Our multilingual office team provides your customers complete travel packs and guidebooks checked by our guides.
