Regions & tours
The Coastal Route of Norway Widely regarded as one of Norway's most beautiful and spectacular cycling routes, The Coastal Route of Norway offers an unforgettable combination of stunning scenery and low traffic roads. The route is mostly flat, yet almost everywhere you are surrounded by fjords, islands, traditional coastal communities, salmon farms, and distinctive mountains. Our six-day tour covers the section of the Coastal Route located just south of the Arctic Circle. The journey begins in Brønnøysund and continues through the Vega Archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the islands of Herøy and Dønna, before ending in the coastal town of Sandnessjøen. Ferries and express boats are a natural and memorable part of the experience, allowing you to discover the Helgeland coast both from the saddle and from the sea. This is a self-guided tour with luggage transfer included and local support always close at hand. This tour offers also excellent culinary experiences. At Vega Havhotell a five-course dinner is included in the tour price.
