Le Vélo Voyageur
About the company
Le Vélo voyageur is a French cycling holiday specialist with over 15 years of experience creating and operating self-guided bike tours throughout France and Europe. Our itineraries are designed, tested and continuously refined by our team through regular scouting trips and first-hand knowledge of each destination. We manage every key element of the journey, from route design and accommodation to bikes, luggage transfers and local experiences. Based in Montpellier, in the south of France, our team has extensive first-hand knowledge of the regions we operate in. From Spring 2027, we will also introduce guided tours in France, bringing travellers together in small international groups while enjoying the same carefully tested cycling experience.
Regions & tours
Le Vélo voyageur designs and operates its own cycling holidays in France and Belgium, with over 140 tours across France, from iconic routes to lesser-known destinations. Our self-guided holidays are highly flexible, with no fixed departure dates, different accommodation categories, bike options and route alternatives. Itineraries can be adjusted to different fitness levels and trip lengths, with all trip information available through our dedicated mobile app. Our French portfolio stretches from Brittany, Normandy and the northern coast to Provence, Camargue and Occitanie, including classic cycling routes such as Véloscénie, Vélo Francette, Vélosud, ViaRhôna, the Canal du Midi and the Canal de Garonne, as well as the Loire Valley, Champagne, Burgundy, Alsace, Dordogne and the Atlantic Coast. In Belgium, we operate tours in the Ardennes, Flanders and around Brussels. Outside France and Belgium, we work with carefully selected local partners to offer cycling holidays in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Czechia, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovenia, Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland and Austria along the Danube Cycle Route. All our tours are available in English.
