About the company

The aim of the Meuse Attractivité Agency is to showcase the image and reputation of Meuse, drafting and implementing its tourism policy. It also helps to draw up, promote and market tourist products, working jointly with professionals and other interested parties representing Meuse as a whole or individual towns and villages. Meuse Attractivité : - sets up and operates online services – promotional products, bookings, social networks - produces publications such as guides, tours and maps for visitors wishing to explore Meuse - provides information to the press : media for the general public and professionals, hospitality for journalists - provides information to professionals of the travel industry. - organises familiarisation trip - takes part in travel exhibitions for the general public and professionals - builds tourism products - the tourist markets of slow tourist products and microadventure (cycle tourism, hiking, walking, mountain biking, environment) - defines and assesses tourist products (hospitality/ cycling/the environment)

Meuse is a beautiful French rural county with a sparse population and a great variety of landscapes. With a network of quiet little country roads and beautiful trails, the Meuse by bike gives cyclists the possibility of pedaling on small roads in the forests and on the edge of pastures, crossing plains and valleys to appreciate nature in all its forms.

The itinerant bike trip is made possible thanks to the international cycle route “EuroVelo 19”. With the French part of the Meuse, cyclists can follow the river from its source in the Haute-Marne to the Ardennes Hills for around 440 km. Along the way, beautiful monuments such as the remparts of Langres, Joan of Arc's birthplace in Domrémy-la-Pucelle, the château of the Dukes of Lorraine in Commercy, the masterpieces of Ligier Richier sculptor of the Renaissance in Saint-Mihiel, the underground citadel from Verdun or the museum of the beer in Stenay.
