About the company
Pedal People is a Danish inbound and outbound tour operator that designs and operates full-service road and gravel bike tours across Denmark, Scandinavia, and Europe. In addition to running own programs, we collaborate with trusted partners throughout Europe to offer a wider portfolio of cycling experiences. Our main focus is on group and tailor-made tours, and we also have a selection of self-guided options available. Several itineraries cater to experienced riders seeking a challenge — including long-distance routes such as Oslo– Rome and Oslo–Paris. Other popular tours are our Norwegian tours Telemark on gravel and Tour of fjords and mountains. During CycleSummit Sport will be happy to discuss new partnerships for both gravel and road adventures – inbound and outbound. An option is also to talk about gran fondos: we are partners of L'Etape Denmark by Tour de France and offer a program for this – and we are interested to hear about possibilities for other gran fondos all over Europe.
Regions & tours
Scandinavia is increasingly recognised as a leading cycling destination. Denmark hosted the Grand Départ in 2022 and will host the Road World Championships in 2029, as well as the European Gravel Championships in 2028. Norway and Sweden also have long traditions of major cycling events. Norway's mountains and fjords offer truly distinctive cycling landscapes, and a gravel ride in Telemark delivers a genuine “Norway in a nutshell” experience. GCN (Global Cycling Network) recently released the video “Bikepacking the world's most bike-friendly country” about Denmark. Inspired by this, we developed a fully supported tour following the route and highlighting some of the country's best cycling. The EuroVelo network provides good inspiration for long-distance tours – and a popular one is our tour on gravel from Copenhagen to Berlin. Our longest tour, Oslo–Rome, is a 2,700-kilometre cycling adventure across six countries, including a full north-to-south crossing of Germany.
