About the company

Riding Together is an Australian registered charity connecting people who want to ride with people who can. We bring riders who cannot cycle independently, including people who are vision-impaired, together with trained volunteer pilots on Hase Pino e-tandems. Rider and pilot pedal as a team, sharing the effort, challenge and freedom of the journey. From community rides and pilot training to ambitious international tours and cycling holidays, we demonstrate that accessibility need not diminish adventure. We work with cycling brands, tour operators and destinations to identify and remove practical barriers, test inclusion in real touring conditions and show what becomes possible when the right bikes, people, planning and partnerships come together. Our goal is not to create a separate category of cycling tourism. It is to help the existing industry welcome more riders, strengthen communities and grow the market for inclusive cycling adventures.

Regions & tours

Riding Together is based in Australia, but our touring region is wherever an established cycling journey can be opened to riders who need an adaptive cycle or thoughtful support. Before CycleSummit 2026, five teams will complete Pino the Netherlands, an approximately 700-kilometre journey on Hase Pino e-tandems from Hase Bikes' headquarters in Waltrop, Germany, to Groningen. Following the Lower Rhine, the route crosses the Netherlands via riverside paths, cycling cities, coastal landscapes, ferries, Texel's island cycleways and the Afsluitdijk. Vision-impaired riders, each paired with a sighted pilot, participate as equal members of each team, sharing the effort, decisions and experience of a genuine multi-day cycling holiday. The journey demonstrates inclusive cycling tourism in real conditions, testing route planning, accommodation, luggage transfers, secure tandem storage, ferry logistics, daily distances and rider support. At CycleSummit, we will share what worked, where barriers remained and how existing cycling holidays can be adapted to welcome more riders. We are seeking partnerships with tour operators and destinations to help make inclusive cycling tourism mainstream.
