About the company
Since 1995 we've been sharing our passion for travelling by bicycle. Curating extraordinary cycling adventures in over 40 countries that give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with remarkable cultures, characters and landscapes in a way that no ordinary tour could. We offer rides all over the world, on every type of terrain, for all ages and experience. From classic tours to epic cross country voyages, SpiceRoads adventures are for anyone who believes what we always have… “traveling isn't just about seeing the world, it's about changing how you see it.”
Regions & tours
Based out of Bangkok, Thailand, we have a strong presence in Southeast Asia where we've been operating tours for three decades. We have increasingly become global with partners in East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America helping us deliver high-quality bike tours. The type of tour we offer depends on the destination, ranging from leisure-based heritage focused trips to serious endurance tests by road bike. We are also growing our collection of gravel bike tours. Where the terrain requires it, we also do mountain bike tours but it is not a focus of ours. Offering e-bikes is, of course, also becoming a bigger part of our business. Staples for every SpiceRoads tours are local guides, vehicle support, well-stocked refreshments/snacks, well-balanced cycling routes, mid-level hotels (where possible), and interesting cultural/natural stops. We offer both scheduled, private, and custom tours in every region we operate. Having been in the biz for as long as we have, we are adaptive to changes in the industry and always welcome new ways of doing things!
