About the company

Sportours is a Porto-based bike tour operator specializing in self-guided cycling holidays for leisure cyclists, families, and small groups. In 2016, in collaboration with Velociped, we created our first three original tours. We now offer more than 10 personally developed and tested tours, covering routes from the scenic north to the sunny south of Portugal, as well as the famous Saint James Way in Spain.

All our tours provide a seamless experience, with packages including accommodation in quality hotels with breakfast. We also provide tour briefings in Porto, detailed information in English and German, a road book, GPS files, and all luggage and bike transfers.

We are seeking partnerships with tour operators keen to offer our curated cycling holidays. Our local expertise ensures an unforgettable experience for their clients.

Regions & tours

Since we're based in Porto, our primary tours start here. However, our routes cover almost all of Portugal. We have tours that explore the green, mountainous North, the birthplace of Portugal with the terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley. The diverse Centre is home to the capital city of Lisbon, the ancient university city of Coimbra and Aveiro, often called the „Venice of Portugal.“ And the South is defined by the sun-drenched beaches of the Algarve and the vast, golden plains of the Alentejo.
