About the company

STAP Reizen (Hiking Tours) STAP Reizen has been a specialist in individual self-guided hiking holidays since 1994. We offer carefully designed hiking routes in Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Malta, and Turkey. Our small, dedicated team ensures every journey is well-prepared and personal.

Tours can be extended by one or two days, and luggage transport is arranged for hotel-to-hotel treks. For centrally based holidays, guests either receive transfers to the start of the walk or use their own or a rental car. Routes vary in difficulty, with well-documented hikes of up to 4-6 hours, suitable for both leisure walkers and more experienced hikers. After a day on the trail, guests stay in comfortable, small-scale hotels, agriturismos, or B&Bs, often family-run and known for local hospitality and cuisine. Accommodations are carefully selected for location, comfort, and authentic charm—sometimes with extras like pools or panoramic views.

We work closely with hoteliers and partners, many of whom are walkers or cyclists themselves, ensuring guests feel warmly welcomed. Our staff and volunteers regularly explore new areas and recheck routes to guarantee quality. Each tour comes with detailed route descriptions, maps, GPS tracks and hiking-app.
