terranova, based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is an owner-managed, medium-sized company that has been a pioneer in premium cycling tourism. Since 1979, and with more than 47 years of experience, terranova has specialized in high-quality guided and self-guided bicycle and e-bike tours. “We create exceptional cycling journeys – where nature, culture, and enjoyment go hand in hand,” says owner and CEO Julian Zimmermann. Our philosophy: quality over price. We deliberately avoid mass tourism, preferring small, privately run, and atmospheric hotels that reflect the authentic character of each region, often with historical charm. In cooperation with renowned cruise companies, we also offer river cruises with integrated cycling routes. Every tour is designed to provide outstanding experiences and lasting impressions – setting terranova apart from conventional cycling trips.

Our best-selling guided and self-guided tours are along Germany's Mosel, Rhine, and Main rivers, followed by popular routes in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal.
