About the company
VisitBrabant is the official tourism board for North Brabant, in the south of the Netherlands. We support tour operators with destination expertise, itinerary development and introductions to a trusted network of tourism partners. As the organisation responsible for Brabant's cycling junction network, we help visitors experience the region in the best possible way. North Brabant has been awarded the highest distinction as a 5 Star Cycling Region, recognising the outstanding quality of its cycling infrastructure, themed routes and visitor experience. What makes North Brabant truly unique is the balance between vibrant, creative cities such as Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda and ‚s-Hertogenbosch and picturesque villages nestled within the Van Gogh National Park. Here, culture, nature and exceptional gastronomy come together, creating authentic experiences that are perfect for group travel, cycling holidays and cultural tours.
Regions & tours
North Brabant is the Homeland of Vincent van Gogh, where the world famous painter was born, grew up and found inspiration for many of his earliest masterpieces. Today, visitors can experience his story by bike, cycling through the landscapes that shaped his life along the award winning Van Gogh Cycle Routes, connecting heritage sites, museums and iconic Brabant scenery. Cycling in North Brabant means much more than discovering Van Gogh. The Monastery Trail leads through peaceful countryside, historic abbeys and centuries of monastic heritage, while the Southern Water Defence Line, the oldest and longest water defence system in the Netherlands, connects 12 historic fortified towns, impressive fortresses and unique military heritage. Together with more than 5,000 kilometres of cycling routes and the renowned Dutch junction network, these themed routes make North Brabant one of Europe's most diverse and rewarding cycling destinations, where history, nature and local hospitality come together on every ride.
