The UCPA group is very big with several sport activities at different sport centres all over France, journeys abroad and much more and since a couple of years La Balaguère is very happy to be a part of this huge non-profit organisation with great human values.
Together we have a great range of different kinds of cycling holidays. UCPA started in 1965 and La Balaguère in 1984 so we have some experience. La Balaguère started as a hiking tour operator and is now one of the biggest organizing cycling in France. The UCPA group is the leader for leisure sports in France and offers very good value for money holidays thanks to the model integrating and managing all elements needed.

Regions & tours
La Balaguère offers mostly self-guided tours from hotel to hotel with all kinds of cycling all over the Pyrenees in the mountains and along the coasts, in the south-west of France, along the Loire river and the Canal du Midi. The holidays with durations from a few days to 2 weeks include half-board lodging in hotels, luggage transportation, the travel documents and sometimes the bikes. UCPA ( https://www.ucpa.com/ ) offers a different kind of cycling holidays at the sport centres situated in the French Alps (Chamonix Valley, Serre Chevalier...), in the Verdon and by the coasts. Instructors are in charge of small groups with different levels from beginners to experts. Usually it’s a 1 week stay with everything included; full board, training, equipment, bikes…Some holidays are for young people from 18 to 25 years old, others for 16 to 55 years old. The concept is quite different with a great friendly atmosphere at the sport centres. Share sports with others and reveal your true nature!
