From October 3rd to 6th, 2026, CycleSummit returns to the Netherlands. Hosted by the region of Groningen, the event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate cycling.
Groningen, named Europe’s number one cycling city by the European Commission in 2024, is the ideal host for the CycleSummit. Here, cycling is more than transport — it’s a way of life. With 60% of all trips made by bike, safe and scenic routes lead from the vibrant city center to peaceful countryside within minutes. Participants will experience Dutch cycling culture first-hand in a city that combines energy, authenticity, and green living. In Groningen, you don’t just talk about cycling — you live it.

What you can expect
About the CycleSummit
Since 2009, once a year international tour operators (buyer and seller) get together to meet, network, start new cooperations and businesses and share ideas and products.
Who attends?
90% of the participants are cycling tour operators, the majority is not only organizing tours but also interesting in buying new tours from others.
The CycleSummit is also a place for regions to present their cycling products and all kind of cycling experts.
Can I only attend to one of the workshop days?
The framing program contains a lot of social activities that support networking and getting to know each other. If you miss this part the 1:1 meetings on Monday/Tuesday are by far less effective for you but also for the others. We do not give any discounts if you’re missing the weekend activities and highly recommend to join for the full program.
How is it organized?
We provide small tables for the 1:1 meetings. These meetings on Monday morning are pre-scheduled – perfect for getting to know each other quickly, while leaving enough time in the afternoon and on Tuesday to dive deeper into discussions. There’s no rush, unlike at large trade fairs. Due to limited space at the conference venue, we may not be able to provide a table for everyone — first come, first served.
To help you prepare for the meetings, a comprehensive online tool (b2match) supports networking, along with a detailed conference catalog containing all participant profiles and contact details.
